  1. HOW TO USE THE CREATE / EDIT FEATURE

  4. You may create your own custom screen savers using two different sources of images:
  5.  
  6. 1. Your images.
  7.  
  8.     Before you begin, if you are accessing your images from a 3.5" disk or CD-ROM, 
  9.     pick the images you wish to use on either of these two image sources and copy 
  10.     them to a folder on your hard drive.  (You may wish to copy them to the folder 
  11.     titled "Copern32")

  13.     To add your own images and create your own screen saver, click on the 
  14.     "ADD YOUR IMAGE(S)" button which appears under the "CREATE / EDIT" tab.  This 
  15.     button allows you to add single images of your choice to new or existing screen 
  16.     savers.

  18.     A small window titled, "Find an Image File or Files" opens.  Using the "Look in" 
  19.     box in the upper left-hand corner, browse your hard drive for the folder which 
  20.     contains your images.  Once found, your individual image files will be listed 
  21.     in the larger box below.  You may choose single images by simply clicking on them 
  22.     to highlight them, or choose multiple images by holding down the CTRL button while 
  23.     clicking on the different images you want.  When finished, click on the "OPEN" 
  24.     button.  You'll now see your image(s) listed in the box titled, "Your Custom Title 
  25.     Layout."  You may preview your images on the small screen to the right.

  27. You may continue to add images from your own source or add images from currently installed 
  28. screen savers using the image files which appear above under "Available Images from Active Titles.

  30. If you previously created a custom screen saver(s), you may use the ADD YOUR TITLES button 
  31. to import all the images from your previous custom title(s).

  33. Once you have placed all the images you wish to have in your custom screen saver into the 
  34. window titled, "Your Custom Title Layout," simply click the "Save Title" button.  This will 
  35. ask you to give the custom screen saver a title, such as "Summer Trip with Grandma and 
  36. Grandpa."  Once saved, you will be able to access this title using the "USE A CUSTOM TITLE" 
  37. button, which appears under the "SCREEN SAVER" tab.

  40. 2. Images from installed Copernicus Software screen saver titles.

  42.     To add images from currently installed Copernicus Software screen savers titles, 
  43.     first click on the "SCREEN SAVER" tab and choose the titles from which you'd like 
  44.     to pull images.  These titles will be displayed in the box titled, "Checked Titles 
  45.     will be Displayed."  After you have made your selection(s), click on the "CREATE / EDIT" 
  46.     tab.  Listed in the box at the top titled, "Available Images from Active Titles" 
  47.     you'll now see all the images available from the titles you just chose while in 
  48.     the "SCREEN SAVER" tab.  Simply use the "ADD SELECT" or "ADD ALL" buttons below 
  49.     to import single or multiple images into your new custom screen saver.  Once finished, 
  50.     choose the "SAVE TITLE" button below and give the title a name, such as "Vacation with 
  51.     the Kids."  This new custom title will now appear in the "USE A CUSTOM TITLE" button 
  52.     under the "SCREEN SAVER" tab.
